ÁREA DE MEDIOAMBIENTE. ESTRELLA POR UN DÍA, AMOR PARA TODA LA VIDA.
Esta tarde, en la Plaza Alpujarra, ha tenido lugar el encuentro “Estrellas por un día, amor para toda la vida” organizado por el grupo Volando en colaboración con Nomaypa y el Área de Medioambiente del Ayuntamiento.
El acto ha servido para la presentación del grupo de trabajo “Volando” integrado por diferentes personas y colectivos del municipio que trabajan en defensa de los derechos de los animales. También ha habido varias e interesantes charlas sobre acogimiento y adopción de animales, adiestramiento y comportamiento canino, colonias felinas y puntos más importantes sobre la Ley de Bienestar Animal.
El grupo ha agradecido la colaboración y el compromiso del ayuntamiento de Órgiva, en la persona del concejal de medioambiente Leví Acosta, al que se le ha hecho entrega de una placa.
La pasarela canina, la merienda solidaria y el sorteo de la cesta, han puesto punto final a esta divertida jornada de concienciación sobre los derechos de los animales.
Gracias a todas las personas que con su esfuerzo desinteresado han hecho posible esta jornada y trabajan día a día por mejorar la vida de los animales abandonados de nuestro municipio.

ENVIRONMENT AREA. STAR FOR A DAY, LOVE FOR A LIFETIME.
This afternoon, in the Plaza Alpujarra, the meeting “Stars for a day, love for a lifetime” took place, organized by the Volando group in collaboration with Nomaypa and the Environment Department of the City Council.
The event served to present the “Volando” working group made up of different people and groups from the municipality that work in defense of animal rights. There have also been several interesting talks on fostering and adopting animals, dog training and behavior, feline colonies and more important points about the Animal Welfare Law.
The group thanked the collaboration and commitment of the Órgiva town council, in the person of the environment councilor Levi Acosta, who was presented with a plaque.
The canine catwalk, the solidarity snack and the basket raffle brought to an end this fun day of raising awareness about animal rights.
Thank you to all the people who, with their selfless efforts, have made this day possible and work every day to improve the lives of the abandoned animals in our municipality.
